One way to find out what a student knows is to test them by matching words to pictures. Either by offering one word for them to read and multiple images to choose from, or by giving one image to match to one of multiple word cards. This activity can be used alongside any phonics programme or reading scheme to support blending and word comprehension at a variety of levels.

This pack comes with matching word and picture cards for phonics sets 1-7, vcc, cvcc, ccvc and ccvc+. 100 word cards and 100 picture cards in total. Cards are marked showing which set they are from to improve ease of use. All cards are printed on 300gsm card.
