At Discover Inclusion we believe that parents and carers of children with special educational needs also need support and training. We aim to make our resources accessible with instructions and guidance videos. Our assistance programme aims to provide resources at a lower cost for families who are struggling to afford specialist intervention.

Professionals are trained throughout their careers and given advice on situations they come across, we also believe that parents and guardians should have access to affordable and informative training. We aim to provide a wide range of short videos that can be accessed around family life. To take a look and kickstart your learning head over to our YouTube channel.

Maria's Learning Space

Maria recently left her job as a full-time teacher to create, 'Maria's Learning Space.' Being a teacher for several years opened her eyes to the many gaps in the system; how it often leaves behind those who struggle, how it fails to be inclusive and cater to SEND students, how it fails to provide an education that inspires and challenges all... that's where Maria's Learning Space comes in - to create a welcoming, inclusive space where the individual needs of students are met, providing an education that celebrates, facilitates, and supports difference.

She has taught Primary and Secondary students for more than ten years and has been a Private Tutor for more than five. She has taught in Mainstream and SEN schools, including Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), and a school for students with ASD. During the summer holidays, Maria is a SENCo at a Summer Camp run by a children's charity

Assistance Programme

We aim to support all families, whatever their financial position. If you are struggling financially but you think there are resources that would benefit you and your child we encourage you to get in touch with us today.

We are able to offer some subsidised training, consultancy and resources for families who need it.

Please do not use this service if you can afford the resources yourself as that reduces how many families we can support.
