Rainbow Thinkers - Taster

The Rainbow Thinkers taster Pack provide sets of structured, adult-led resources that work on phonics for learners who are pre- or nonverbal / non-speaking.

The focus is on introducing and using a range of strategies to enable access to phonics. Strategies are described and accompanying resources provided. 

Work matches to one of Set 1 of the Phonics for Pupils with Special Educational Needs programme (compatible with many other phonics programmes). The focus is on VC and CVC words at the basic code level (1 to 1 grapheme-phoneme correspondence).
